Donate for ARDS research and receive an original drawing
In March, at the age of thirty, I found myself suddenly ill and on a ventilator fighting for my life for 18 days. I was in the hospital for 21 days, but thankfully I survived. It has been a long and emotional recovery that continues everyday. I have decided to join the ARDS Foundation team and raise morny for ARDS research. For every donation that is made over $120, I will give the donor an original drawing created specifically for them. $100 dollars will go towards the ARDS Foundation and $20 will be used for materials and shipping costs.
These drawings will be done on 100% cotton rag paper with pen, pencil, and ink. Send me three words when you make your donation and those words will inspire the creation of your drawing. After donating email me at with three words that I will use to inspire a drawing as a thank you gift.
If you would like to read more about my journey through ARDS visit my website.

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) is an acute, severe injury to most or all of both lungs. Patients with ARDS experience severe shortness of breath and often require mechanical ventilation (life support) because of respiratory failure. ARDS is not a specific disease; instead, it is a type of severe, acute lung dysfunction that is associated with a variety of diseases, such as pneumonia, shock, sepsis (a severe infection in the body) and trauma.
